I was reading the Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life book by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus and the section talking about job, career, and mission got me thinking. I want to practice answering the "What do you do?" question with my passions and not my job title. It's a concept I'm already familiar with, but I don't necessarily practice it enough. I'm working on developing my new dreams and helping others with their life's purpose, but I don't state often enough what are my passions. This is a good exercise to continue redefining my life and shattering society's expectations. I recommend this quick read if you're interested in understanding the essence of minimalism and make your life even more meaningful.
What am I passionate about?
Well, it's not a huge surprise that I love self-improvement and travelling. I wanted to travel from birth. I was seventeen and I was going to travel agencies to book fake trips! I wanted to know the possibilities and costs! About six or seven years ago, my fiancé introduced me to self-improvement. At first, I was really scared and reluctant. Then he bought me The 7 Habits of Highly Efficient People book. That was it! I only linked travel and self-improvement recently.
I love mathematics, chemistry, astronomy, and physics. I really didn't use to. I rediscovered these a couple of years ago. I got into redoing my elementary and high school mathematics so I could go beyond and understand pure science. Khan Academy is such a great site for this! I recommend it!
I'm a hardcore Disney fan. I have been since I was three. When I go to the parks, I proudly wear my ears, even in the presence of co-workers!
I cry of joy when I meet legendary Disney animators such as Eric Goldberg and Andreas Deja.
I love minimalism. This concept suits me really well, being a fan of optimization, organization, and efficiency. I also love how it brings me to shed brain clutter and keeps me growing on the self-improvement path.
I really enjoy learning new languages. I can speak French, English, Spanish, and I have a working knowledge of German and Italian. I recently started learning Japanese, both written and spoken.
I love watching movies and series with my fiancé. We constantly pause and discuss them. It would be a drag for others watching with us. :P When at the theatre, we always wish we could have a remote!
I love yoga! I was a dancer growing up and that's a form of exercise that really resonates with me. On top of it, there's a strong meditation and self-improvement experience linked to it.

Who Am I? I'm many things. I'm passionate about tons of stuff. I love travel. I love self-improvement. I'm a sucker for optimization, efficiency, and minimalism. I renewed with mathematics and science, those are so amazing. Astronomy and chemistry are just plain awesome! All that and everything else I have not discovered about myself yet. It's a never ending answer!
